Most likely the only good thing to come out of Star Wars Episode 1 : The Phantom Menace was the amazing lightsaber battle at the end.
My second favourite duel of the Star Wars series.
Here it is cut down to the bare essentials. They killed Darth Maul... What a waste of potential.
I guess these guys really shouldn't have interfered with his enjoyable ride. Oh well, they clearly learned their lesson... All 30 of them.
Toshiro Mifune is the man.
Although not as good as they classic Shintaro Katsu Zatoichi films/TV shows, Takeshi Kitano's 2003 version of the Zatoichi mythos is a worthy addition. The sword fighting in it was great and here is a perfect example.

By far my favourite sword duel ever, from one of my favourite movies.

You get the European and Asian sword styles representing. A bit of kenjutsu and some good old fashioned claymore fighting. A great mix.
This clip isn't so much a sword fight as it is a series of fights that involve swords. Wu shu swords versus European sabres, Katanas versus three segmented staff etc. The confluence of styles is very cool.
Very impressive when you consider that Jet Li is nearly 50 years old. To me at least it's just damn interesting to see these kinds of mixed martial arts fights, even if it is just a movie.
